Finding Your Business Name

You are already to get your web site going, wanting to make some money online, but you have not decided on a good, catchy name. You do not want one that is cutesy or so complicated no one can remember it, you want one the reflects the business you are posting out for millions to read. You want a name that people will remember but professional. This is where a business name generator computer software program can come into play.

Basically this type of program will mix up a few names or words and come up with a good name for your business. There are some companies though that do not put much stock in this, but for others it works quite well. There are a few things one should remember when finding your business name using this type of program.

Think long and hard about combining words to get that unique business name, when combining words, you can come up with something you do not want and could be embarrassing when put together. When a word comes up from the program, look at it for a long time, say it out loud, being sure it does not indicate anything that could be misconstrued as foul or sexual.

Because your web site will be viewed from people all over the world, be sure to give it a name that can relate to all countries. A prime example was when Chevrolet came out with its car the Nova; in Spain it means ‘no go’. Well it wasn’t the greatest car in the world, but you get the idea. People will also suggest you choose a web site name that can be expanded, you just might want to expand your products and you do not want to be stuck with a name that can not handle the difference.

Let’s say you want to sell men’s clothing, but you also carry women’s as well. Your web site name only indicates that you sell men’s clothes, and then you lose the potential customers such as women. This limits your sales and you could lose a lot of money.

How to Gain Trust Online While Seducing Your Customers

Once you have decided to launch an internet-based business, it is extremely important to market yourself well in order to attract customers. The question here is how to gain trust so that customers remain satisfied and keep coming back to your website. One reason why people tend to be really skeptical about online businesses is the rising number of fraudulent websites cropping up on the internet and cheating people of their hard-earned money.

The internet allows people a lot of discretion due to which there can be innumerable manipulations, cheating and scams. There are a number of businesses that have just been established in order to rip people off. When one visits a certain website, there is absolutely no way of determining whether one is dealing with a genuine person or not. On the internet, most people go by the saying that appearances can be deceptive.

If you are a new and authentic business, how to gain trust can be quite a perplexing question. However, there are a number of simple ways that this can be achieved:

1) The first thing that needs to be done is to build a good image of your company on the web. The necessary things need to be done in order to make your potential customers believe that you are the person you are projecting to be. The website representing your business must have an excellent layout and must contain all vital aspects related to your business. Listing a phone number to contact at all times will go a long way in raising the level of faith that customers have in you.

2) If you are a company that is selling products online and shipping them to people’s homes, the customers are likely to feel doubly assured if they can see pictures of the things for sale on your website. The pictures that you put up must be high in terms of clarity and easy to navigate through. You should also put up information on your website stating that whatever personal information the customers choose to share with you will be kept confidential and will not be leaked out.

3) You may also provide the detailed address of the head office of your company which the discerning customers may visit in order to be assured that your business is real and not merely a scam.

4) How to gain trust need not be that difficult anymore as you can also achieve this by conducting all business transactions with the utmost sincerity and integrity. It is vital to make sure that you deliver whatever you have promised to your customers in the best possible manner so that there is absolutely no negative feedback about your business anywhere. If you do so, you will get great reviews and positive feedback which potential customers are sure to read. This helps establish trust and brings in more business thus increasing your profits.

The Story of Money and John D Rockefeller

Many people have an ideal that once they achieve a certain amount of financial success, they will never have to do anything else ever again. Other people just want to see how much money and fortune they can make. Money is idealized in many unhealthy ways by too many people. You should be asking yourself more questions than how much money I want to make. Once you become financially secure, you will then have a different set of problems. John D. Rockefeller found this out the hard way.

John D. Rockefeller is a prime example of a man who made a fortune in business. Rockefeller made all of his money in the oil industry, and made quite a bit of. He worked long hours and had a lot of drive to succeed in business. While he was in his 50s, his health began to deteriorate because of his work ethics. Physically and emotionally he was very unhealthy, but he did have a lot of money. While he had a fortune that many people did not have, he also had no joy or happiness in his life at this point in time.

A slight change in the way he lived his life started to make him much happier. He started to give away his money that had been made over the years little by little. He genuinely changed his interest from earning money to one to help other people who did not have the fortune he did. This gave him much more fulfillment in life than any amount of money ever could have.

John D. Rockefeller started giving his fortune way one dime at the time. He would literally pass out times all day while he was walking around. Today, a time is not worth much at all and you cannot do anything with it. However, in Rockefellers Bay it was considered a good bit of money. He really enjoyed giving his money weight children, especially children who are in need. Much of his money was given way to cheer these over the years while he was still alive. After he started donating money, his health started to improve little by little. Rockefeller lived into his 90s, which is an old-age to make it to. He probably would not have been able to do so if he did not change his model of success. Only when he started giving his fortune away instead of being concerned with making it, it is health get better. He has taught everyone a great lesson in that is to think about what you want after money.

Tendering For New Business the Easier Way

Every RFP (Request for Proposal) and PQQ (Pre Qualification Questionnaire) is different. Business proposal writing is time consuming, complex and expensive. It takes up your staff’s time and your company’s resources. So why do company’s write proposals? Unfortunately for many it is the major method of winning new business. If you are in the recruitment, facilities management and IT environment, you are probably obtaining the majority of your new clients via tendering for work.

So how can a small to medium company keep up with the bigger companies without bankrupting themselves in the process? Well the big companies have dedicated members of staff who do nothing else but write bids and proposals. Smaller companies can hire tender writing companies that will write their proposals for them on an ad hoc or retained basis.

A tender writing company will have one or more experienced bid managers who will either have experience in a prescribed field or will be generalist and able to handle most types of proposals.

When you decide to prepare a proposal, you can contact your chosen tender writing company and discuss your opportunity with them. They will ask to see your RFP or ITT and ask you some detailed questions about your company. They will then wish to know how much of the tender you want them to write and which parts they will be responsible for completing. They will usually leave the financial pricing to you as this is very personal to each company. They will also encourage you come up with your own solution – after all this is your strong point!

Your chosen tender writing company will often interview you and your specialist staff to garner information that can be presented within your bid. They will also gather information from your web site, your brochures and marketing material as well as your product information. A good tender writing consultant will provide you with a project plan as well as a list of information that they require from you. They will also be in contact with you – but do not forget to leave them time to write the tender, so do not expect them to be constantly on the phone or at the end of an email!
